hi I'm joe well our summer vacation is over. Our hours or Saturday are back again we're here from 7 30 in the morning until 11 o'clock in the morning, so come on in and see us.
Well we have a covet update i understand our city is not picking up our recyclables and recycling like they used to so if you want to help come and bring your aluminum cans into us or keep them separate in a bag so other people can then pick them up and get them recycled for you the more recycling we do is better off for us and everybody else so come on in with your aluminum canes we can help there.
We can't help with the plastic bottles but we can help with the aluminum cans our prices right now for aluminum cans are 25 cents a pound like the cans we also buy other aluminums so we buy all kinds of aluminum screen doors, fenders, bumpers anything like aluminum radiators.
so what you're going to bring in some cans you might want to check see if you have any other aluminum. The aluminum right now is 24 cents a pound for other aluminum than cans.
now it's the season that people throw away their old air conditioners so we can get them recycled here get them recycled properly and get the freon recycled for you it's better for the environment and if you're going to bring in aluminum cans or something check and see if the neighbor throws away an air conditioner this way we can dispose of it properly get it recycled properly our copper prices are getting a little bit better our price now is two dollars and 35 cents a pound things are starting to move again so the COVID 19 held us down for a while but now it seems to be letting us lose slowly so our prices seem to be raising up but right now the copper is 2.35 a pound,.
out of our prices the only one that stayed the most stable was lead. Lead right now is 50 cents a pound if you bring it in and car batteries are worth 21 cents a pound so bring them on in well that's our blog for the week.
I'm sorry we can't get many metal prices this week but the coronavirus is keeping us down a little bit well we're trying to pull through it like everybody else and we hope to see you next week
